SROI
SROI stands for Social Return on Investment
Using SROI, companies and institutions help make constructive and sustainable contributions to employment, society and sustainability, among other things. By deploying Social Return where it is most effective, the return is central: helping people to a better position than where they are now, contributing regionally to social cohesion and a sustainable environment.
Guts 'n Values also does Social Return. A fixed percentage of net turnover is set aside to give back to society. For Guts 'n Values, this is Yamah Foundation.
The Yamah Foundation is a small foundation that supports the London Corner School sites in Serekunda and Jabang in The Gambia. On a small scale, they help the poorest of the poor get education, food and, if necessary, medication.
